About Jeffrey Retherford

I am Jeffrey Retherford — a results-driven executive, advisor, and reformer with over 35 years of experience leading finance, operations, and organizational transformation across both the public and private sectors.

My professional journey spans federal government service, private equity–backed ventures, multinational subsidiaries, and high-growth technology firms. At every step, I have championed integrity, rebuilt financial systems, and led with discipline and purpose.

Early in my career, I served as Controller at Gantos Inc., where I played a key role in taking the company public. I then transitioned to the public sector, becoming Manufacturing Controller at the U.S. Mint, where I oversaw a $3 billion budget and led major ERP system rollouts in a complex federal environment.

Over the years, I’ve held senior leadership roles including:

• CEO and Chief Consulting Officer of Diakritikos Corporation
• CFO of 3D Imaging and Simulation Corporation (3DIS Americas)
• Manufacturing Controller at Enviva, Euclid Systems, Velocity, and the U.S. Mint
• Consultant and transformation leader at BearingPoint, Accenture, and Infosys

I’ve led ERP implementations across NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Epicor. My work spans international compliance under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and French GAAP, as well as audit resolution, intercompany transactions, and whistleblower reporting of systemic misrepresentation and financial misconduct.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Davenport University and a Master of Science in Accounting (MSAC) from Strayer University. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Liberty University, with a research focus on strategy, ethics, and accounting innovation in manufacturing environments.
